Yes. If you choose not to remove them at night you are likely to get a sore mouth and may develop, and need treatment for a yeast infection like thrush.
Unfortunately nothing lasts forever and dentures will need to be periodically replaced either due to wear and tear or because over time your gums will change shape and your dentures may not fit as well.
Yes, dentures can be fitted to receded gums. However, the more receeded your gums are the less retentive your denture will be. It may be worth considering implants if you have receeded gums.
Dentures are removable and we strongly advise that you clean your gums and dentures daily.
